ICYMI: Judge Says POTUS Can’t Block Twitter Trolls, Justice & Drew, 5.24.18 #TCNT

Yesterday morning around 7:24 or so, I received a private Twitter message from Samantha Sansevere, producer extraordinaire of the Justice & Drew morning show on Twin Cities News Talk 1130:

This is what is referred to as the “Bat Signal” and my queue to don my “Lawyer Extraordinaire” persona and call in to the show to discuss a hot legal issue.

This time, it was the decision of a federal judge in Manhattan that President Trump’s blocking of certain Twitter users violated the First Amendment.

Our discussion pivoted to a broader discussion on the topic of activist judges who make decisions not based upon the law, but upon their personal political beliefs. You can listen to our discussion here.
