Real Estate Radio Hour – August 27, 2011: Hot Topics in Real Estate Law

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of appearing live on the WCCO Real Estate Radio Hour live from the Minnesota State Fair.  I even had my fan club attend – OK, so my “fan club” was my Mom and Dad and my law partner, Greg Perleberg, but still…

It was a fun and wide-ranging discussion of hot issues in real estate with Co-Host Andy Prasky along with fellow guests Andy Lindus of Lindus Construction and Matt Helling from Cambria Mortgage.  I talked about some hot legal issues in residential real estate including contracts for deed, short sales, issues involved with buying bank-owned properties (i.e., limited warranty deeds and “as is” sales), and even a little bit about Minnesota’s Torrens registration system.
