Zoning and Businesses: Real Estate Radio Hour August 31, 2013

(Pictured above (L to R): Dan Schwarz, CEO, Lift Bridge Brewery, Jeff O’Brien, Chris Rooney and Andy Prasky)

I have been a part of the Real Estate Radio Hour now for over five years, and every August the show heads out to the Great Minnesota Get Together, the Minnesota State Fair.

It’s always fun to be a part of the live show in front of a live audience, and I like to do something interesting and different than my usual “Legal Minute” segments.

This year I invited Dan Schwarz, CEO of Lift Bridge Brewery in Stillwater (a client of mine), to discuss the effect that zoning ordinances have on businesses (breweries in this case).  Oh, and we also discussed Lift Bridge’s new “Mini-Donut” beer, a State Fair exclusive that was the hit of this year’s Fair.  Click here to listen to the discussion.

For those of you interested in hearing past show segments, please visit the Real Estate Radio Hour page on my website.
