“3 And Out”: Deion-Denver Post Dustup, Caitlin Clark Makes WNBA History…and So Does…Danny Jansen, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 8.26.24

On Monday morning, it was time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.

I enjoy all of our weekly discussions, but this one ranks as one of my favorites, particularly because of our first topic, where we discussed the dispute between Colorado University, its head football coach, Deion Sanders, and Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler, who was recently informed that Coach Sanders and his players will no longer answer questions from Keeler. I included this as a 3 And Out topic as it reminded me of when Bob himself found himself at odds with then Minnesota Vikings Coach Dennis Green. It reminded Bob of that time as well, and hence this story dominated our discussion this week.

After that, it was on to some lighter topics, with two very different athletes making history in their respective leagues. One was Caitlin Clark, who made history against the Minnesota Lynx becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to achieve 500 or more points and 200 or more assists. The other, was Boston Red Sox backup catcher Danny Jansen, who made history on Monday evening when he made history as the first player in MLB history to play for both teams in the same game.

You can listen to our discussion here.
