“3 And Out”: Gophers Are Duke’s Mayo Bowl “Champs”, Tommies Are Minnesota’s Tops Men’s Hoops Program, and the Vikings Fold Under Pressure, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 1.6.25

On Monday morning, it was time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.

This week, we covered our last featured Minnesota college football team standing in the 2024-25 season, the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, who enjoyed their eighth consecutive bowl victory with a win over Virginia Tech in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Then it was on to the University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team who, according to Sports Illustrated, is now the No. 1 NCAA Division I men’s basketball program in the State of Minnesota. Finally, we discussed the aftermath of the Vikings’ disappointing meltdown in Detroit on Sunday night, which cost them the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs and home field advantage throughout. Instead, they’ll be in Los Angeles next Monday to take on the Rams, a team which was the other team to beat the Vikings this season besides the Lions.

You can listen to our discussion here.
