“3 And Out”: Gophers Nearly Pull Off Another Upset, Tommies End Season With a Win, and UW La Crosse Awaits the Johnnies, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 11.25.24

Every Monday during college football season on The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, Bob and I devote our 3 And Out segment to a recap of Minnesota’s two Division I teams – the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of St. Thomas Tommies – and its best non-Division I team, the St. John’s University Johnnies.

This week, with the MIAC Champion Johnnies enjoying a bye week before starting the D3 Playoffs next week (against UW La Crosse, who beat Northwestern (St. Paul) 59-14 in Round 1), Bob and I discussed the “consistently inconsistent” Gophers, who almost pulled off another upset of a ranked opponent, losing to Penn State 26-25.  We also talked about my St. Thomas Tommies, who ended their fourth year of Division I play with a 32-9 win over Dayton.
