“3 And Out”: Gophers, Tommies & Johnnies All Notch Tight Wins, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere

Every Monday during college football season on The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, Bob and I devote our 3 And Out segment to a recap of Minnesota’s two Division I teams – the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of St. Thomas Tommies – and its best non-Division I team, the St. John’s University Johnnies.
Once again we had another “3-0 3 And Out” with the Gophers, Tommies & Johnnies all winning. This weekend, however, the scores were a it closer. For the Gophers and their 15,000 fans’ who made the trek out to Pasadena, California to face new B1G rival UCLA, they came away with a late 21-17 victory, and true freshman (and Minnesota native) Koi Perich again saved the win with a last minute interception. My alma mater, St. Thomas, won a seesaw battle in New York with Pioneer League rival Marist, with the Tommies ultimately winning 39-32. Last, but certainly not least, the St. John’s Johnnies continued their roll by defeating, albeit by a narrower margin than some of their prior victories, their MIAC rival Concordia-Moorhead on the road.
