“3 And Out”: Hendrickson Shocks Steveson for the NCAA Title, Minnesota State Defeats St. Thomas, and Should Taxpayers Foot the Bill to Update the X? The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 3.24.25

Every Monday morning, it’s time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.
This week, Bob opened the show with our segment, which started with an amazing match at the NCAA Wrestling National Championships, which saw Oklahoma State’s Wyatt Hendrickson take down the heretofore unbeatable Gable Steveson from the University of Minnesota in front of a crowd that included President Trump. It was an amazing match with WWE-like energy from the commentators.
Next up, it was the Mason Cup Championship from Saturday night, which saw Minnesota State-Mankato take down my Tommies, 4-2. Despite the loss, my team has made remarkable strides in the past four years and the future looks bright!
Finally, the Minnesota Wild and the City of St. Paul, demonstrating the worst possible timing, have announced that they will seek funds from the State to renovate Xcel Energy Center. With a budget deficit on the horizon, their request could not be more poorly received.
