“3 And Out”, Hoops Edition: Willie Burton for U.S. Senate?, Lynx Greats Inducted into Basketball Hall, and Williams Arena Naming Rights, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 4.7.25

Every Monday morning, it’s time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.

This week, the common theme to our three topics was basketball, but the similarities ended there. First up was a Washington Post story regarding Gopher basketball legend Willie Burton possibly being a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Tina Smith. Next, it was on to the news that Minnesota Lynx legends Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles had been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, where they will join their former teammate, Lindsay Whalen. Finally, we discussed the news that the University of Minnesota was looking to sell naming rights to legendary Williams Arena.
