George Floyd Case Update:  Body Camera Footage Released and the State Seeks to Have One Combined Trial, Justice & Drew, August 4 & 13, 2020

As the case against the four Minneapolis Police Officers accused of murdering George Floyd continues to develop, Justice & Drew continue to flash their bat signal for my thoughts on these developments. On August 4, we discussed Judge Peter Cahill’s Order to release the body camera footage of the four officers and what that footage might mean for the overall case. Then on August 13, after the State filed a motion to combine all four trials into one, we talked about what the State’s reasoning might be behind this motion.
