Minnesota’s Constitutional Crisis, Jon Justice, 1.16.25

On Thursday morning, I called in during the first hour of Jon Justice’s morning show to discuss the current standoff at the Minnesota Legislature, which has involved one “winning” candidate being declared ineligible because he did not reside the district (full disclosure: one of my Husch Blackwell colleagues represented the successful plaintiff on that case), the Minnesota DFL House members, faced with being in the minority until the special election to fill that seat, boycotting the start of Session to deny the GOP the opportunity to elect leadership, and, of course, more lawsuits.
