Reining In the ABA, and Minnesota’s Cannabis Rollout Cluster, Jon Justice, 3.12.25

I called in to Jon Justice’s show on Wednesday morning, to discuss a recent piece from the Federalist Society advocating for President Trump and Republican states to shy away from relying upon the American Bar Association (ABA) on matters such as law school accreditation and judicial nominees, on the basis that the ABA is far too left-leaning to have its opinion(s) matter.

We also discussed the latest on Minnesota’s adult use cannabis roll-out, and I shared my frustrations with the ad hoc approach being taken to staffing the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management.
