On today’s episode of 3 And Out, Bob Sansevere and I were joined by John Beasley, Tight End for the Minnesota Vikings from 1967-1973 and the starting Tight End on my favorite Vikings team of all time, the 1969 NFL Championship squad.
The topic of discussion: one of the best Vikings-related stories of all time: John’s investment in a gold mine in Northern Idaho called the Golden Chest. You will absolutely have to listen to our discussion to believe it, as logic would dictate that when a bunch of NFL players invest in a gold mine, there isn’t going to be a happy ending. That was not the case here.
