“3 And Out”: Women’s Hoops, Women’s Hoops and Women’s Hoops, The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, 4.8.24

On Monday morning, it was time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.

This week we devoted our segment to some of the biggest headlines coming out of the last weekend of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, which Bob and I both agreed was the best ever, and better than the men’s tournament this year. We started with Vice President Harris’ statement that “brackets weren’t allowed in the Women’s Tournament until 2022” (not true; while the “March Madness” moniker had not been used for the women’s tournament before that year, the tournament has been structured as brackets the same was the men’s for quite some time). We then moved on to some negative comments being made about current superstar Caitlin Clark by two former players, Diana Taurasi and Lynette Woodard. Finally, we addressed comments made by now National Champion South Carolina Coach Dawn Staley on Saturday regarding her opinion that transgender athletes should be allowed to compete against women.

You can listen to our discussion here.
