The BS Show, 1.15.24: “3 And Out” – NFL Playoffs Weekend 1 Hot Takes

On Monday morning, it was time for another edition of The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, and that means another of our weekly “3 And Out” segments, covering three stories which Bob lets me pick to discuss.

This week’s segment was all about opening weekend of the NFL Playoffs, and specifically some stories that were garnering a lot of chatter online. First, we discussed how the NFL’s fascination over Taylor Swift being at Chiefs games is causing some “bad blood” with NFL alums. For his part, Bob doesn’t have a problem with it. As for me, I can recall Prince – a far more talented artist than Taylor Swift IMHO – garnering less attention when he’d attend Vikings playoff games back in the day. Next up was a discussion of the postponement of the Bills-Steelers game due to blizzard conditions (although the Chiefs-Dolphins game went on despite frigid temps). Finally, we discussed perhaps the hottest topic of them all from this weekend: the NFL’s decision to air the Chiefs-Dolphins game on the Peacock paywalled streaming service instead of a network channel.

You can listen to our discussion here.
