The BS Show, 5.15.23: Surveying the Aftermath of the 2023 Minnesota Legislative Session

On Monday’s edition of The BS Show, Bob and I discuss the “accomplishments” of the 2023 Minnesota Legislative Session, including raising taxes despite a record $17.5 Billion surplus, infringing upon 2nd Amendment rights with gun control laws likely to be overturned by the courts, jeopardizing the continued availability of rideshare options Uber and Lyft, destroying e-pull tabs for veteran organizations and charities, and passing a whole host of other measures which will likely be challenged in court.

The lone bright spot: Minnesota is poised to become the 23rd state in the U.S. to legalize adult-use cannabis.

The sum total of this Session? Those that contribute to the Minnesota DFL Party did very well, and the number of productive, taxpaying citizens fleeing the state will only increase.
