The BS Show, 11.20.23: “3 And Out” – Gophers Blown Out by Ohio State, Tommies’ Season Ends in Second, and Johnnies’ D3 Playoffs Replacement Flounders

Every Monday during college football season on The BS Show with Bob Sansevere, Bob and I devote our 3 And Out Segment to a recap of Minnesota’s two Division I teams – the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of St. Thomas Tommies – and its best non-Division I team, the St. John’s University Johnnies.

This past weekend, the Gophers continued their downward spiral with a 37-3 drubbing at the hands of Ohio State. The Tommies’ season came to a close with a victory at home against Valparaiso. The Tommies ended their third season at the D-1 level with a second place finish in the Pioneer League.

Meanwhile, the Johnnies watched Coe College – the team which was selected over them for the D-3 playoffs – lose 20-7 to Aurora, causing many to question why the Kohawks were awarded an at-large bid over the Johnnies.
