The BS Show, 8.7.23: “3 And Out” and Dock Jumping Feats

Last week on The BS Show, Bob and I did a dog themed 3 And Out. This week, we did a 3 And Out segment and a separate dog themed discussion.

For 3 And Out, we went with a sports theme and discussed the shocking (and humiliating) end to perhaps the loudest team in sports; i.e., the U.S. Women’s soccer team, the latest expansion of the severely misnamed Big Ten Conference, and recently introduced Federal legislation regarding NILs.

In the second segment, it was all about the weekend exploits of our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Poppy, and her older brother, Chesapeake Bay Retriever Finnegan, at a dock jumping competition. Spoiler alert: they both did quite well. My wife, Jennifer, is their handler, and I am the “holder” who keeps them in place at the back of the dock until Jennifer gives them the command to go. It’s a very fun sport to be a part of.
