The BS Show, 9.18.23: “3 And Out” – Gophers, Tommies Lose, and Johnnies Prepare for Big Game Next Weekend

It’s Monday, and it’s college football season, so that means our 3 And Out segment on The BS Show With Bob Sansevere, where Bob and I breakdown the weekend performances of Minnesota’s two Division I football programs – the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of St. Thomas Tommies – and the state’s best Non-Division I program; namely, the St. John’s University Johnnies.

This week, the Gophers were on the road against No. 17 North Carolina, while the Tommies made history as the first Minnesota D-1 school to play Harvard University. Unfortunately, both teams came up short, with the Gophers losing 31-13, and the Tommies losing 45-13.

As for the Johnnies, they were on a bye week ahead of a big MIAC contest next Saturday vs. Bethel, which has become THE game in terms of determining who wins the MIAC.
