Thoughts on the Derek Chauvin Trial, Day 1, Justice & Drew, 3.9.21
Tuesday morning I was on air with Justice & Drew following another flash of the “bat signal.” This time we talked about the latest developments in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the officer charged in the death of George Floyd; namely, the battle over whether to allow a third degree murder charge against Chauvin, particularly when the case of Mohammed Noor (the officer convicted of 3rd degree murder in connection with the death of Justine Diamond) is on appeal as to this very issue.
You can listen to our entire discussion here. Additionally, for an excellent summation of the issues involved in this charging decision, be sure to read Andrew McCarthy’s piece on the subject over on the National Review page.
