“Back in Black”: Assessing the Trump Verdict, Jon Justice, 5.31.24

Following my appearance on yesterday’s edition of Jon Justice’s show, my good friend Walter Hudson (who also happens to be my State Representative), followed me and referred to my characterization of former President Trump’s trial in New York as “measured”. We spoke later in the day and shared a laugh over it.

Suffice it to say, when Jon asked me to call into the show again this morning to discuss yesterday afternoon’s guilty verdict, I don’t know that “measured” is the word that I would use to describe my comments in my discussion with Jon and fellow Friend of the Show AK Kamara.

Example: “…if he (meaning former President Trump) gets back in there will other tools at his disposal to somehow make this verdict go away…and I would just say for Judge Merchan, I hope you’ve got seven years of receipts in order because you’ll probably be the first one to get audited.”

You get the gist.
